| Profiil / Company profile | Linnanmäki is Finland’s oldest and most popular amusement park. Linnanmäki, owned by the Children’s Day Foundation, was opened to public in 1950. Since then, Linnanmäki has raised more than 120 million euros for children´s welfare. While our visitors are having fun at Linnanmäki amusement park they are also supporting child welfare work. Linnanmäki has over 40 rides and some of the rides are free of charge. The iconic wooden rollercoaster Vuoristorata from 1951, remains the most popular ride. Linnanmäki’s newest sensation, Swingi, will make its grand entrance in 2024, promising even more thrills for adventure enthusiasts! Linnanmäki is also a playground of fun with games and slot machines, a feast of restaurants and cafes, and two gift shops. When autumn arrives, the magic doesn’t fade. Linnanmäki hosts unequal events and festivals every year, such as the popular and spine-tingling iik!week Horror Festival and traditional Carnival of Light. Linnanmäki opens again in spring 2024. |
